The process of creating a cutting board

I select and buy raw wood, then the wood is planned, squared and cut according to the design I decide to do. Details of wood grain and color guides me in choosing which board I create. The timber is cut and glued with precision. Then the board might need to be cut again. Once the pieces are assembled and glued together, I proceed to the manual polishing with an orbital sander using three different paper grains making the cutting board incredibly smooth to the touch.
